Muragha Malla Mukteeshwara Temple: This is a Shiva Temple. Mukteeshwara is composed of ''Mukthi'' means liberation from samsara and the concomitant suffering involved in being subject to the cycle of repeated death and rebirth (reincarnation). Eshwara meaning controller or the Supreme controller here it means Lord Shiva. This temple is located in Murugamalla of Chintamani Taluk, Chikkabalapura dist. in Karnataka. The temple is located at the top of a mountain ( made out of only rocks) This place is also called Baradwaja Shetra. Baradwaja is one of the greatest Hindu sages (Maharshis), descendant of rishi Angirasa, whose accomplishments are detailed in the Puranas. He is one of the Saptarshis (Seven Great Sages Rishi) in the present Manvantara; with others being Atri, Vashishtha, Vishvamitra, Gautama, Jamadagni, Kashyapa. This temple is many 1000 years old. Kailasa Giri Temple: The other attraction of Chintamani is the temple at Kailasagiri. This is a famous cave temple located on the hill. There are three shrines in Kailasagiri dedicated to Lord Shiva (Four faced), Goddess Parvathi and Lord Ganesha.

Kaivara: This town is linked with great Indian epic, Mahabharatha. Kaivara was known as Ekchakrapura, that's where the Pandavas lived in exile incognito, Bhima, one of the Pandavas, have killed the demon bakasura at this place. The temples of Sri Amaranarayana, Bhimeswara and Ashram of Saint Narayana worth a visit.
